Here comes the longest post at this blog so far. It’s about a collection of photos from last weekends EFPT event at Lefkas kicking off with one of the guys that you like to sail with and hung around as well! Adrian Beholz, super cool guy with super clean style impressed us with moves like konos and air-funnels.

Next comes the Globalshots gang,  Jay Haysey, Max Rowe & Ric Cleworth! (We’ll definitely meet at clubvass or… at Zeus bar ).

This is Sweden’s Erik Håkman -who’s blog straightouttafiskeback.blogspot.com is one of our favorites- doing the most at the marginal conditions when Varrucciu Gabriele prefers to stop.

Finally minutes before the wind died down Alex Tetsis pulled this ponch in front of our lense.

Last one goes for one of Austria’s most respected riders and EFPT race director Tom Hartmann.

Tom together with Daniel, Marek, Flora & Dominique were responsible for running the event at Lefkas. And they did it perfectly!

If you are following this blog, you ‘ll already know that last weekend we were at Lefkas Island, judging for the EFPT contest. Actually this was the fourth time that we attended this event and have to admit that it was one of our bests mainly cause we got to meet new faces (with no big ego’s), saw old friends and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of the island! ( If only we had some 4-5 knots more…)

The contest ended on Sunday and saw 4 riders sharing the first position. (the wind died down when there where 4 riders left) So here comes our winners!

Just returned from the Lefkas (what an island!). Had amazing time with all the pros, the EFPT crew (thanks for mentioning me guys at your website) and if we could only have 15 more minutes of wind we would have finished the single elimination. Anyway that’s windsurfing, can’t complain.

My compact flash is full of photos so I expect tomorrow (hopefully) to start posting some.

Day two at the EFPT Lefkas Milos Beach and today’s forecast is more than promising! Follow all the action at zakel via our Twitter!

Day one at EFPT Lefkas Milos Beach contest saw no competition due to lack of wind. So we enjoyed a nice day at the beach chating with pros and getting ready for tomorrows action (hopefully).

Actually there was a super light breeze which allowed Yegor Popretinskiy to showcase this chachoo in front of our camera.
